Classroom Expectations

Rules

In this class, we believe it is important to have respect for our fellow classmates. We have to have a positive mindset and believe that we can do anything we set our minds to. We know that to succeed in 4th grade we have to try our very best at everything we do and be helpful to our classmates. We will raise our hands and listen to one another. We will speak only kind words and words of encouragment to each other. We will never give up.

Policies

When you enter the classroom, you are to walk in calmly and quietly. Morning work will be on the board. You will have the first 30 minutes of class to get settled in and begin working on your morning work. If you finish your morning work, you may begin working on your homework for the week or read silently at your desk. Participate in class work and be respectful of the other students around you. Remember that you are the 4th graders and all of the younger grades are looking up to you. When you are in the hallway, stand in a straight line, and speak quietly to your neighbor.
